Shipping methods
1.Pick up from the store
You can pick up your order from our head office in Sindos Industrial Park or from our branch (25th March 43), without any shipping costs. As long as you provide your contact details when submitting your order, you will be notified when your order is in our store and ready for pickup or you can contact the sales department to find out what stage it is at.
2. Shipping Nationwide
Your order will be shipped to the address you provided when placing your order. The choice of method is always made by the company (depending on the quantity and weight of the products), unless you wish to ship by your own means, in which case you must contact the company by phone.
Orders for individuals & light products are shipped with ACS Courier, one (1) to three (3) days after the order for large urban centers and two (2) to (4) days for the rest of Greece. Products are delivered from Monday to Friday. Bulky and heavy products for businesses are shipped through the transport company MELISSA S.A. for large urban centers and with equally reliable similar companies for the rest of mainland and island Greece. Delivery is made within three (3) to five (5) business days. Orders within Thessaloniki are delivered free of charge within three (3) days, regardless of quantity and weight.
3. Billing policy
"Astoria Safety Stores" has established the following shipping cost charging policy:
- For products up to 5kg: the minimum shipping cost is €4.00 (including VAT).
- For products from 5kg to 10kg: the minimum shipping cost is €8.00 (including VAT).
- For products from 10kg to 15kg: the minimum shipping costs are €13.00 (including VAT).
- For products from 15kg to 20kg: the minimum shipping costs are €18.00 (including VAT).
- For bulky products: the minimum shipping costs are €25.00 (including VAT).
During the ordering process, you can be informed either by phone or via e-mail about the exact shipping cost of your order. The transportation costs of the package concern the transportation from our company to the central axis of your area.
Deliveries of heavy products, for large urban centers, are made via a transport company to the sidewalk of the declared address. If you wish to transport the item to a specific floor, you must arrange with the respective carrier for an additional crane transport service. In this case, you will be charged the final cost for the additional service resulting from the carrier's pricing policy, always in consultation with the company.
In case your area is inaccessible, there is the possibility of delivery to your location with an extra charge for shipping, after communication and agreement between our company and the recipient, either with ACS Courier or with the respective transport agency.
It is noted that the customer may choose to transport by his own means and expenses, however, in this case, the products are transported at his own risk. Since after receipt of the products, the risk passes to the customer, the latter must check the products he receives upon receipt, as by signing upon receipt he confirms that he has correctly received the products of his order. If the customer does not receive the product after receiving the notification to ship and despite the relevant notification, the COMPANY reserves the right to withdraw from the sale.
